We just bought a house and it went so well that I felt compelled to write reviews of our lender.
We were all set to go with a friend’s friend as our lender for a conforming purchase loan, when I decided I’d better shop around at least a little. Petros quoted us .25% less than our previous quote, with about the same closing costs. (That comes out to $22,000 over the life of the loan.) It seemed too good to be true, but he wasn’t lying, he got the job done. Part of the deal will be up to you, though. How fast can you get him the documentation he needs?
In the end, we went with Petros and Provident lending (notoriously difficult to work with) and Petros got us through the process successfully and closed 3 days early. It was pretty sweet! Thanks Petros!
