A couple of weeks ago, I broke my scaphoid bone. It looked like this until yesterday.
What happened was, while playing pickup soccer, I volunteered to play goalie. Jeff took a pretty nice shot and I punched it away. The ball broke my wrist/hand. Lame.
Yesterday the doctors put a pin in it. My other alternative was 12 weeks in a cast and a risk of still needing surgery anyway.
So I’m just at home watching TV and taking oxycodone.
