Our introduction to Portugal was Porto, in the North. Porto is the birthplace of Port Wine (which we drank liberally). It’s a good thing there are so many hills to walk off all the wine.
To get to Porto, we took our First RyanAir flight… painful and cheap. But our trusty Tom Bihn backpacks were easily carried on, so we had no extra surprise charges. (See our Tri-Star backpack review post)
