Estonia in Pictures

I’ll say this much: we love Estonia. We went for a wedding that is in the running for the Most Fun Wedding Ever award, made some friends and danced in the Baltic. Estonia is “cheap” to visit, comparatively speaking, which we loved. Most citizens of Estonia learn English starting with elementary school, and a few other languages before they graduate high school, so being a tourist there is easy.

To our new friends: thanks so much for your hospitality, we love your home.

I bought an Olympics shirt.

From this photo, you can get an idea of how Tallinn is split between upper and lower parts of town. The upper part of town is where the nobility used to live. Now it is home to, among other things, the consulates of a bunch of countries.

We also visited Tartu, affectionately known as “the University Town.”
