The Basement is Finished!
We finally finished our basement! It looks pretty great. We’re planning to rent it out for $1400 to $1500, but if you find this page, you’re likely to be eligible for the friends and family discount of $1300. Except that we don’t want to rent to family. That would be weird. The place is right around here.
Utilities are going to be a flat $300 per month. That is a pretty good deal as it includes internet and premium cable HDTV.
We should point out that there isn’t a “living room” per se, but there are two huge bedrooms. The line through the middle of each room is where there is a step up to a nook area. You could put your bed and dresser up there and have a huge hang out area.
